Colson has improved the 2 Series side lock brake with the customer in mind to include even more strength and durability than before.
Improvements with the 2 Series Side Lock Brake Design:
- Improved design offers more consistency between sizes
- Same brake pedal for all sizes
- Same solid axle, nut and washer for all sizes
- More robust brake lever insures maximum gripping power on wheel
- Larger contour brake pad means more contact surface to wheel

Albion has just introduced its new PF wheel - a yellow polyurethane wheel on a black core that is built for speed!
These wheels are polyurethane treaded, firmly bonded to precision machined cast iron cores. They are designed to reduce noise problems and offer cushion to loads. The polyurethane material allows the PF wheels more flexibility in rolling over debris and obstacles without picking up objects.
They are non-marking, floor protective and tested against bond failures.
Wheel Bearing Options: Sealed precision ball bearings or tapered roller bearings
Wheel Hardness: 95A on all sizes
Temp Range: -40 degree to 180 degree F

Albion has launched a brand new wheel, called the Eagle Wheel, and it is specially designed to support heavier loads than conventional caster wheels.
It is versatile and durable, and suited for a wide range of applications and can withstand load capacities of 600 to 1200 lbs per caster.
The Eagle wheel's unique, interlocking polyurethane tread on polypropylene core offers superior adhesion for medium to heavy duty weight capacities.
It's standard operating temperature range is -40 degrees to 180 degree F. Available in 4,5,6 and 8 inch sizes.

The Heavy Duty RT Wheel (Noted as 'DT' in their part numbers) was created by taking the already successful RT wheel design and using a glass reinforced nylon material to create an even stronger and higher impact resistant wheel.
In addition to the standard applications already solved by the standard RT wheel, the Heavy Duty RT Wheel is ideal for applications where the wheel is subject to strong impact, including transport dollies, racks, and other material handling items.
The Heavy Duty wheel has a continuous operating temperature range of up to 350 degrees F. Capacities range from 1000 lbs to 1600 lbs per wheel, and the wheel durometer is 75D.

Albion's New High Temp RT Wheel is designed similar to the standard RT wheel, with reinforced thermoplastic material to create a high performance, resilient, and cost effective wheel.
It is a great wheel for food processing, tool storage, sanitary maintenance, and applications requiring easy mobility under heavy loads. They are extremely resistant to water, chemical absorption and steam cleaning.
The High Temp Wheels are great for applications needing a wheel that can handle a continuous operating temperature of 480 degrees. When used intermittently instead of continuously, the High Temp RT Wheel can handle as much as 600 degrees.
Capacities range from 600 lbs to 1400 lbs per wheel and the wheel durometer is 65D.

Colson Caster Corporation has announced a new single-assembly expanding adapter to replace it previous four-piece model! The new format incorporates three interlocking pieces into one solid configuration for ease of installation and enhanced fit and performance.
This new product addresses the issues of customers using the previous model as they sometimes struggled to mesh and align four loose pieces to a caster. This product ships pre-assembled and the only thing needed to do is tighten a single nut to secure the new unit. When the nut is tightened, the unit expands to ensure a tight and secure fit.
-Crafted with a durable glass-filled nylon knurled nut and flange bushing
-Uses a rubber expansion tube that fits over the stem of the caster
-Made with completely corrosion free materials
-Great for applications like healthcare and manufacturing material handling.
